What We Believe (Apostolic Doctrine)

It is our conviction that the Bible is enough. Our desire is simple: to live and worship the same way the early Church did as recorded in the Book of Acts.

We baptize in the name of Jesus Christ as the early church did. We believe in receiving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, just as they experienced in Acts 2. We gather on the first day of the week, hear and obey the preached Word of God, we still witness healings and miracles, and we strive to live separated from sin and the world.

The Bible is literal, the Bible is right, the Bible is our statement of faith!

The Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for salvation and Christian living.
(II Timothy 3:14-17)

The Godhead (Oneness of God)

There is one God. In Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He is God manifested in flesh—fully God and fully man.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16)

Sin and Salvation

All have sinned and need salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus—and we obey it through:

  • Repentance (death to sin)

  • Water Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial)

  • Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (resurrection)
    (Acts 2:38; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 6:3-4)

Holiness

God calls us to live holy—inside and out. We separate ourselves from sin and reflect Christ in every area of life. Holiness is not optional; it is the evidence of a transformed life.
(Hebrews 12:14; II Corinthians 6:17; Galatians 5:22-23)

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ and His witness in the world. Our mission is to preach the gospel, love one another, and demonstrate the power of God through the gifts of the Holy Ghost.
(Mark 16:15; I Corinthians 12; Hebrews 10:25)

Praise and Worship

We worship God with passion and sincerity—lifting hands, clapping, singing, shouting, and rejoicing—because the Bible commands it and God deserves it.
(Psalm 150; John 4:23-24)

Marriage

Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman for life, designed by God for companionship and raising godly children.
(Genesis 2:22-24; Malachi 2:15)

The Rapture and Second Coming

Jesus will soon catch away His Church (the Rapture). Then after the Tribulation, He will return bodily to earth to reign for 1,000 years (the Second Coming).
(I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 19:11-16)

Other Biblical Principles

We uphold the sanctity of life, the call to repentance, and the power of the Holy Ghost to transform lives. We believe God still delivers from all sin and empowers believers to live victoriously. We believe in the authority of the Bible, the name of Jesus, the power of the Holy Ghost, and the hope of His soon return.
(Luke 13:3; I Corinthians 6:9-11)
